I happened to hop back onto Facebook for just a few minutes to see what was new only to see an update from someone and my reaction was instantaneous.
You know a person for about 20 years. That person has been the same for the past twenty years.
One day, you see that person and they have something about themselves and it may be either physical, personality, or simply are trying something new to change. We are all entitled to do that after all.
Are we then allowed to judge that person for the changes they have made? Absolutely not. We are not the ones who have to live with the new hair style. We are not the ones who suddenly hate music we used to listen to. We are not the ones who suddenly decide who we to take out of lives. Who has to live with those changes? Only the person who has made those changes.
We can either choose to accept the person how they have now shaped themselves or to walk away. However, we don't have the right to belittle the person that is now different. It is their way of growing. It is their way of finding their path in this life.
Either you support the person or keep your mouth shut. You don't have to be so honest that you make statements without knowing facts.
